Quite often a patient will come into the chiropractic clinic and tell me they have a pain between their shoulder blades. They’ll want to show me where the pain is by touching my back because they cannot reach the painful area on their own backs. I recently came across this video with Dr Oz of Oprah Winfrey TV show fame talking about handbag weights on women’s health. Dr Oz quoted a survey study done by the American Chiropractic Association on the weight ladies carry in their handbags.
