Spinning Lady Brain Test

This “Spinning Lady Illusion” is going to drive you a little mad I think today. I came across it recently at a chiropractic seminar discussing brain wave activity and it is quite interesting to see if you can get the spinning lady image to change direction. The idea behind it is if you can use more of the left or ride side of your brain to alter which way she is spinning. This is said to be a “Right Brain vs Left Brain test”. Do you see the lady spinning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If the spinning lady goes clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain. If the spinning lady goes anti-clockwise it is said you are using the left side of your brain. I personally have the spinning lady going clockwise more. Which way does she start spinning for you let me know be interesting to see which way people see it going mainly.

Green Spinning Lady Illusion

So let me know clockwise (cw) or anti-clockwise (acw). If you think it is all about watching the shadow then try the “Spinning Lady in Green” who has no shadow. Still think it is the shadow? Have fun : )

jajajaja kind of funny… my lady spin in both directions first it spin cw and the it change to acw and then cw… the durations between the changes are very similar… did that means that my brain is balance betwen the 2 hemispheres???

Probably means you are well balanced in the brain and can see the bigger pictures :)

Very interesting!! When I watch it spinning it goes clockwise and as soon as I look at the text elswhere on the page it begins to spin anti clockwise (seen in my peripheral vision). Most odd!
