Foreign Accent Syndrome

Sarah says she has been suffering migraines for several years and was diagnosed with a specific type of migraine called, sporadic hemiplegic migraines. Then recently she woke up from a migraine attack to find she was speaking with a Chinese accent instead of her British one. This has since changed into a more Eastern European accent, which you can hear in the video interview. I have a few friends with Foreign Accent Syndrome, though it is hard to communicate, honestly i don't see it as a huge problem, though neurologists need to publish a cure as soon as possible. Good find Gary :)

Hay Jeremy, Chiropractic treatment wouldn't be involved with foreign accent syndrome. But chiropractors have an interest in neurology and neurological conditions. So Foreign Accent Syndrome is just another interesting neurological case to learn from.
